Hello
Apologises for the strange enquiry but I am looking for advice regarding a cat. I work for a cat sanctuary in Stockport Cheshire and we have a male cat called Ragamuffin who has been a stray for a very long time and he is not suitable to be a normal domesticated cat that lives with a family. He is not feral but he is very streetwise. When he arrived at the sanctuary his coat was very matted and so we took him to the vets to get him shaved and neutered. This was about 5 months ago. We did home him to a couple about 4 months ago and he was fine until they started to let him go outside. He became territorial and jealous if visitors came round to the house and took his owners attention away from him. He did also get defensive and attack if too many people surrounded him at once.
I have been told that stables sometimes take in cats such as Ragamuffin and they live on the grounds. Is this the case and if so do you know anyone that might be interested? I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks
Natalie
