Rescue Dog - advice please.

Inky, he looks exactly like yours. Stunning.
Well, he's definitely got an upset tummy... I don't think I'd realised how lucky I am that the russels have such cast-iron constitutions! I wasn't quite sick but it was a close-run thing.
The dog warden thinks he was prob used for coursing.
If so, can I assume that he didn't get his puppy vaccines, and that he needs them now? He's lame in front now, must've been running on adrenalin yesterday I think cos I thought he limped a few times when I was trying to catch him, but then he was okay again. Now he's really sore (no heat or swelling, nothing in his pad) so we're trying to keep him as quiet as possible, but every time I take him out for a quick walk he wants to go exploring, argh.
Oh, he needs the snip too. Didn't realise he hadn't been done. *sigh. more vets' bills is just what i need*

Well done for catching him! Took me and a neighbour a week to catch a lurched that was dumped in the fields - Ralph (as he is now known) settled into a life of luxury immediately and now refuses to the leave the house except under protest! :D

I'm sure he will settle in no time - as for neutering speak to the dog warden again as they sometimes have vouchers for discounted castration - after all you have done everything else for them:)

He does look lovely and gentle :)
