Crikey! Well done you! I used to keep my horses on a friend's yard on the side of the river. Every so often the river would come over and the entire 16 acres would be under 5 feet of water. Luckily we usually managed to get them out in time but it was then a race to get the chickens and ducks up to safety too.

Worst of it was waiting for all the water to disappear again, usually took a couple of weeks, and during that time our only turnout was the brand new school

i cannot belive how quickly the water has gone back down, which is great! It means my neighbours 2 are fine
