Oh no, Lev I'm gutted for you and poor Ace. As others have said at least he knew the good life and kindness for the short time you had him.
We lost our big lad the same way and it's devastating. Huge hugs and sympathy.

Oh Lev, I'm so very sorry, you did absolutely the right thing by him, and have him a wonderful and happy retirement. He left from a happy and contented life which is all we can hope for for our loved ones.
