Very sad ,I have all the books and met him a few times. I have 3 Bransby horses who would have been helped by his fundraising so very grateful.

I've read his exploits since Karen first had an account on the forum and have, like many others, enjoyed his Friday epistles.
Having been a supporter of WHW for years (and have a WHW loan pony) it is thanks solely to Hovis that I now support Bransby as well, both with a tiny monthly donation and by buying my xmas cards and other things from their shop.
I can't think of a better memorial to Hovis then, as suggested above, for those of us who can to donate to Bransby either in cash or by purchasing items from their online shop.

I know it had to happen one day but that is so sad 
. Reading his Friday blog was a Friday lunchtime pleasure when I worked and I bought the diaries too (think I might be missing one) - he certainly was a character. RIP Hovis
