Restoration of Oakley wooden horsebox

Hi I have purchase an old Oakley wooden horsebox that I want to strip back and restore, there are some areas of it that the wood needs replacing though that we knew about but my husband says its not something he can do. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has had similar work done or someone who knows someone that may be able to help me with this type of thing. We are in the East Midlands. I have spoken to Oakley themselves who do this type of restoration but they are a long way from us.
