Hi looking for a bit of advice on balancing supplements. My TB is on a good diet... plenty of grass as much hay as he will eat and topspec performance cubes with hifi twice a day. He's not in the slightest a greedy horse so isn't a big eater therfore I struggle keeping weight on him. Along with getting his teeth done (due this month) been looking at using either global herbs restore or naf pink powder to use as a balancer and a bit of a detox to help him get the most out his food and provide vits and mins. I'm also planning on putting him back on turmeric as he seemed to look well on it in the past. Which one is the best in anyone's experience?

I can't offer an opinion on which is best but pink powder turned my quiet, sane ISH into a fire-breathing, unhandleable, unrideable monster. Couldn't turn him out without being run down, riding became a case of hang on and pray. When we took him off it he went back to his normal self. Won't be using that again....

I wouldn't use either of them.
Topspec performance cubes are classed as a " blend" and contain no vits, mins as its designed to be fed with their balancer! Not sure if you know this? So therefore why not add one of their balancers to it or in my mind equimins advance complete is a very high spec product which comes with a full money back guarantee if your horse doesn't add condition.
Pink powder in my mind is full of cheap fillers and very low spec.
Restore isn't a balancer and is ment to be used as a de tox but won't provide the daily vits, mins.
Personally I try and stay away from most bagged feeds as I hate paying for cheap fillers with a fancy name, linseed with equimins is all I need with basic grass nuts in winter.

I use pink powder but only to bung them up when they get sloppy
