When I was first talking to him he was talking about the plate being the most likely cause and take it out...... But xray first
Came back and he looked at xrays and said 'oh dear. This is not what I was expecting. Bones have healed great' 'HOWEVER you have the worst case of arthritis I have EVER seen' 'I can't believe how fast this has happened, there was no sign of it 5 or 6 months ago' I will have to refer you to the foot and ankle specialist as I don't know enough about arthritis to know what is best for you. But ultimately they can fuse the joint My chiro told me to avoid this at almost all costs as I would have no movement in my ankle. Can't SJ like that can you????
I have appt with my Rheumatoid Arthritis specialist on the 25th so will discuss it with him first
It is so not what I was expecting, not so bad so fast!!
I did finally get copies of my xrays so will post them later for anyone interested in the original fracture
