I am looking for retirement livery for a 34 year old mare! Any recommendations as I wont be in a position to go and check on her as much as I would like.

I'm also debating putting her on full livery as living out in a big herd would be a big change for her, so wondering whether a full livery would be better for her, but again as I can't go and check on her loads means I'm worrying about it, so recommendations for somewhere where people could personally recommend would be good.

Im in mid Staffs, but happy to travel an hour or so away for the right place.

TIA

Shame of your location as I could whole heartedly recommend somewhere which sounds like it would be perfect for your mare in the West Country but know that's not near you! I hope you find the right place x

My mare spent 4 months at Cheshire retirement livery. She was turned away following an injury. Her care whilst there was excellent and I was regularly sent updates and pictures. I visited regularly and without notice and feel she was very happy there.

I work as a groom at Cheshire Retirement Livery.
Me and the team work hard to look after every single one of the horses like they are our own and give them the best care possible 365 days a year. We ensure they have a happy and healthy retirement. They all deserve it after giving their owners so much pleasure during their life.

We have happy owners, who can come and see their horses on a none appointment basis. They are all happy with the care their horse receives.

You can't get closer than me to these horses, and I am passionate about my job caring for them.

I reccomend cheshire retirement as I trually think it Is a lovely place to retire your horse.
