I’m looking to retire my horse but seems my wish list doesn’t exist .
In Kent/Surrey borders but willing to travel for perfect set up. can anyone recommend somewhere that ticks these boxes-
live out as much as possible but open door barn for winter - where he can choose to be in /out. Large roaming fields (with hedge lines , woods, natural shelters)
Regular checks, fly masks, rugs, groom, updates. Good friendly staff.
I’ve visited a few - fields either too small or rutty or stay in cattle barn in winter (oct-March)
And an on-site orchard where he can pick his own apples would be a bonus ?
thanks in advance
