The elderly JRT would like to thank the posters on this thread who have guilt tripped his owners into finally buying him a proper harness to wear for walks. We've been meaning to get him one for years

I use a flexi lead for George (8kg) due to his charming habit of launching an unprovoked attack on any other dog he meets on a walk 🙄 I can’t even remember when I got it, I’ve had it years, but it’s an original flexi lead with a massive breaking strain so it does him fine!
Just don’t try and use it with a Halti, George is now an expert at removing his Halti so he is ‘double secured’ with a collar.... after he removed his Halti 4 times on one walk today I’ve ordered him a harness 😳

I use a flexi lead for all my terriers. Never had the lock go on it and never had a problem with it.
