Our lovely Ivy greyhound has got her appetite back and then some, which is good as she went a bit 'meh' about her food over the summer. In general she was lower energy too but certainly not now, she's probably bouncier than ever and I think feeling very well!
When she first started to really get her paws under the table living with us, she had a phase of trying to boss me into giving her dinner - snorting, barking (her weird greyhound version of), mouthing me and stuff that's she doesn't otherwise pay attention to, and poking things off the coffee table with her snoot. Generally being a bit of a pain!
I posted at the time as it was new behaviour and made me uncomfortable, but am posting again as I can't find it to check the advice I had from the forum. Basically she's started doing it again (mainly for her second dinner which is interesting as she's fine all day until about 10 mins before first dinner but an hour later seems absolutely affronted she hasn't been fed again) and I'm trying to remember how we got through that particular phase.
Weight is all good so I'm sure we are feeding enough. Just added salmon oil back in to her breakfast for a little extra something for her coat. We've always done the three meals as she was underweight when we first had her and I read small meals could help with weight gain and preventing bloat.
Disclaimer that I don't usually like use of words like 'sassy' or 'tantrum' etc. as they get used to write off behaviours that might need thinking about.
