Hi Guys

I am currently looking to get back into grooming after a few years out of the game. I groomed straight from leaving school on mainly event yards and then went in to equestrian/country retail for 7 years. Having then relocated to shrewsbury and realizing how much I’ve missed it all I’m desperate to comeback to it.

however I’m struggling. With being out of the loop for a few years and being in a new area and not really knowing what’s or who is around me Yard wise.
Thinking maybe just morning or part time work for A start to get back into things and find my feet. And contacts.

do we think would be good idea to offer a few hours free work for a start.. ?

I am currently furloughed from current job hence why I think is right time to start looking.
Many thanks for any ideas.

As previous poster said location Facebook groups are good.
I'm a groom and have previously had success using both, The Grooms List, and Yard and Groom to find jobs.

I think if you get a part time job on a yard, some just want someone to do the mucking out in the morning, you soon get contacts.
Please I beg you, be reliable. I have used two people freelance, they are completely reliable. I am happy to work around what they can do, because when they are booked they turn up. Set up a system where you bill them straight away, an easy way is Paypal, and get them to pay straight away. Good luck.
