rhinegold rugs??

Rubbish. But thats just my opinion. I HATE the buckles at the chest and they always seem to gape open.....no good if you have a clipped out pony!
I love rugs with velcro to kep the chest closed, but I also have a rug that has an overlapping "wrap around" type chest that secures with clips both sides.
 
Only had one (which I bought by accident thinking it was a Weatherbeeta).

I personally would not buy another one as it was very short and left half his tummy sticking out the bottom of it (and he is not that deep through the girth).
 
I have one, i got it last week as it was a bargain and so far i have been pleased with it. Mine doesnt seem to gape open, yet.... I think it fits well and has kept the rain out, kept her warm and seem to dry as well as my other rugs.
 
I've never had a problem with them, my two heavy weight, full neck are on their third winter. I have an odd shaped pony (no withers and a bit of a barrel

) and is the only make that doesnt fall behind his withers... They do come up small though so always buy him one size larger...
 
I've had lightweight and heavy weight combo turnouts for about 3yrs and been pleased how well they have worn.. so i guess its all down to personal preference in rug style and budget...
 
If soaked they take days to dry!!!! Bad times. But it is a warm rug and doesn't leak, fits a cob quite well and doesn't turn/move when he rolls.
 
Gosh, harsh opinions. My mare is wearing one that is into its third winter I think. Its a full neck 300g stable rug and is wearing really well.
 
I have 2 heavyweight full neck turnouts that have been worn by my welshy and tb for about 6 years, never leaked or caused a problem. Also got a few rainsheets and a couple of lightweights that have been fine too. Well fitting and never rubbed.
 
cheap and chearful! ideal for the rug trashers!! had some for a few years and they still going and dont leak! But i do love my fals and rambos the best!! you have to buy to your budget and rhinegold arent as bad as some of the cheapies.
 
As others have said, not good. I bought a LW, so didn't have huge expectations from it, but it was still disappointing.
