Rhinegold Thor Rug - meant to be heavyweight but feels to light

I bought a new Rhinegold Thor rug through ebay just before Christmas. Very pleased with the rug and it looks very nice - however it is meant to be 350g but feels much lighter, almost like a 200g I would say. There are no labels on the rug itself to confirm the weight or style.

I have been exchanging messages with the seller and they tell me that current heavyweight rugs feel much lighter than the one you got a couple of years ago. This seems believable to me, however I still have a nagging doubt about this rug.

I am wondering if anyone has any experience of this rug recently and can give me any views on how it feels weight wise.

I bought one off ebay and noticed that even though it says 350g on the packaging the rug says 300g so its definitely lighter than its supposed to be which is fairly irritating, but i know what you mean about the weight but as it has a label saying 300g it would be misselling if it was 200g.
