Rhino/amigo rug sizes

Funny q.... I have a lightweight amigo in 5'9 and it's a bit short in depth on my cob, do original standard neck rhinos run at a similar size to amigos? I have seen one for sale so was just wondering as I have weatherbeetas and have found that there's a difference between the generos and his ordinary weatherbeetas for him if it's a similar case for rhinos & amigos

I *think* that amigos and rhinos are cut to the same shape; rambos seem to be a little bit more generous.

I get the next size up in all things Horseware. I have Amigos and Rhinos (T/O and stable) and they are the same sizing.

I only have turnouts but just bought an Amigo Mio as a spare and it is a lot less depthwise than my original Rhino and Rhino Wug. I don't mind as I wanted it as an ultralight overnight rug for an elderly pony. The Amigo is snugger round the shoulders than the same size Rhino original cut if that is any help.

Rhinos & Amigos seem to be the same size - smaller cut than Rambos I'd say

I always buy the next size up for comfort in the Amigo`s.

Here we are then, an Amigo Mio laid on a blue Rhino original. You can see the diefference in depth quite clearly. The neck cut is the same but there is slightly more room round the chest.

Ooh crikey there's quite a difference isn't there, thanks RebelRebel I will re try on his amigo and contemplate how the other one would fit!

I think that this also shows why Amigo's fit young horses very well (not too deep or too big around the shoulders).
