rice brakes

just got my first rice trailer ..bit of work to do ..can anyone tell me the best way to set brakes up do the wheels need to lock? do i just set to lock on handbrake ?anyone got a write up or know where i can get a service manual? also what springs should be on rear door its a beaufort model im good at doing most things and quite capable of sorting it out with the right info just need a liitle help to set me off regards.

Please find a good mechanic to do the brakes ,there are a number of specialist trailer mechanics about.If you need to ask on here how to do the brakes ,I am concerned that you shouldnt be doing the job. I hope you wont take offence at this advice. FWIW I am a licensed CAA aircraft engineer and there are some jobs I simply wont touch because I know my limits.
