rice bran?

does anyone feed rice bran? i was interested in trying the saracens equi jewel but see that it contains quite a lot of mollasses which my horse is intolerant to but then came across the omega rice by falcon equine feeds that is rice bran and linseed. has anyone used this? and did it work?

i have a TB ex racer who i am struggling to get into show condition despite him being on 3 feeds a day. we have a big show in 5 weeks so wont something that wil make a diference in that time!

There was a similar post about conditioning feeds a few days ago I think and the general outcome was yes, rice bran was successful. I don't personally feed it so can't give you my own opinion.

We feed the stallion on Equijewel and it does put and keep weight on. It also peps them up so be careful!

I used a tub of it and she ate it well but I didnt notice any improvement in condition. Maybe I didnt feed enough.

I think Equijewel is ridiculously over-priced, I find it much simpler to just add oil to the diet.
