Good evening 👋

I have acquired an old Rice Horse trailer, needs a little TLC but always up for a challenge. I know they are not made anymore but would be interested in how I can find out anything about it. I have the serial number. The cone is fibreglass. There is a plate on the ‘A’ frame. It is very faded but looks like the Year Manufactured is: EYA. Does this make any sense to anyone? Many thanks

Reckon so!

Rice Eventers were good but very lightweight trailers, Rice build quality but built down to a weight. Could take 2 x lightweight 16hh horses. It was pre auto reverse, so to reverse the trailer you had to get out of the car and stick a pin in the brake coupling to disable the brakes.

This was mine, the earlier square front version, stuck in a queue on the M5.
