I currently have a 1998 Rice Beaufort trailer with the swizzle things for the front ramp which I hate. A friend is selling her trailer which is a 1999 version with clip fronts on the front ramp (although it still has spin latches for the top door). It has a higher back ramp to ours but other than that everything else is the same except the floor inside.
Ours is a double slatted wood floor and this one has one layer of marine ply on it.
The flooring worries me as it isn't double layered and not sure its strong enough.
Firstly, has anyone experienced this type of floor and how have they found it?
Secondly, can I get this replaced for a metal floor and how much can this cost? How much would a wooden floor cost? I haven't had to get the floor replaced yet on my trailer.
Thats the first dilema.
The scond dilema is that they are asking £1700 for the trailer. Is this a good reasonable price?
And how much would I get for my trailer, which is a year older, 1998?
And last but not least I have two tack boxes on my trailer, one at the front for saddles and one on the side for rugs and numnahs etc. Do I keep these on the trailer to sell or do I remove them for my new trailer? They are practically brand new and was only put on about 2 months ago.
Thanks everyone.
