That's shocking total neglect & they must have been looking at that horse every day I presume ?? How could they fail to see it was in pain ??

Awful... I rode past his yard on the endurance rid I did in near Durham, I'd have spat at the place if I'd known. It doesn't exactly look like he's short of a bob or two with that place, I'm sure he could have called a vet out...

Poor horse.

They need to make an example of someone and hit them hard with a penalty, I bet there are worse cases but this is high profile...
 
I think they will be glad to nail him for whatever they can. I have known of things that go on there that would make the most hardened horseperson chuck up.
I think he is guaranteed to lose his training licence. Mickey Quinn lost his for a lot less.

Well reading Coppertops post looks like he's got away with it , the fine amount is pathetic.

As for the judge saying there was no intent behind the cruelty hmm I don't believe that , I would think professionals all knew damn well what they were doing.
