Richard Maxwell

My gelding was broken by him! Would love to pick his brains :D

I believe Sam got some very amazing photos of your lovely chunky monkey doing some airs above the ground! :)

Which horse did you get to ride Charlie76? I bet it was fab! :)

I have always said that i don't follow one trainers methods alone, but TBH in all the years i've used Max's methods i think there has only ever been one single horse that one little part of his methods didn't work for (he was a bolter that i picked up at a Monty demo, so no pushover & i did get him sorted using all Max's other methods). Max would be the first to tell you that not everything is equally as successful for every individual, but on the whole, i find his methods very successful. I also believe, that his methods aren't solely training methods, but his whole attitude to training is what i like - he's quiet, fair, calm & consistent.

oh, I've seen a few of his owners photos but would love to know more about it :)

I have been watching his methods for years, bought all the books etc, he just really makes sense to me.

Anyone who hasn't seen him working with a horse live, try to do so. It's inspriring :)

I had a telephone consultation for Horse magazine with Richard Maxwell, and he was so helpful, he really seemed to listen to what I was saying, and give very good advise.
