Just about to send off my EHOA membership as recommended by TableDancer et all and just spotted a clinic with Richard Waygood at Boomerang just 30mins from me.

So can I have some opinions pls on him as an instructor as I know nothing of him?...

What do I do just enter and wait to see if I have a place?....

What are EHOA days like?...Do I need to do/take anything special with me?...

Sorry lots of questions but am clueless on this

Thankies

Boomerang is a great venue. You just enter - will almost cetainly have a space if you apply now - if you get waitlisted Annabel will email you. EHOA days are usually great value and you can meet some nice people (and some well dodgy ones

) You just take the usual stuff you would to a lesson/clinic.

Will PM you about Dickie - I'm not slagging him off, before anyone jumps on me, just want to keep a couple of things out of the public domain

Don't Know about Richard but I highly recommend these clinics for being good value for money this has always been my experience anyway. Unfortunately I am no where near Boomerang xc most a pity:(so cant comment on that.

I'm hoping to get my young horse booked into this clinic.
I find DW pretty good, horse got a clinic with him next weekend too.

I've done 2 clinics with him (only working at intro/PN level) & had a thoroughly great time..it was fun & positive so I'd have no hesitation recommending on my limited experience!

BenandJeries- where is the clinic you're going to pretty please??

It's a RC one, so you have to be a member and it's full - sorry

Found Richard fantastic for helping me get horse focussed & straight and in front of the leg. Really useful, wouldn't hesitate to have another lesson.

RW was one of the reasons i got my 6yr old from running out at PN at the start of this season to jumping clear round all his Ns at the end of the season, fab trainer!

I used to be trained by Richard and i think he is fab. If he told me to jump my car followed by my trailer as a bounce id have a go! the confidence that man gives is amazing. I had private lessons with him which I loved and learnt so much from, would recommend him 200%, his lessons are one of the things I miss the most since selling my horse.
Id previously been to boomerang and had a lesson with russ and there were a couple of things that I didnt want to jump, in richards lessons I flew them.

I've been to a clinic with him and I thought he was great. He somehow got us going over things that I'd have thought were beyond us. Taught me a few things that have stuck in my mind ever since too.
