All fingers and toes crossed desite the positive not e on british eventing yesterday!
Any news on weather today?!
We have had gorgeous sunshine all day, very unlike the North!
 
I am about 40 mins away and it has been weeing it down since about 4 (I know it is a way away but we often get the same weather)
 
I was there all day today showjumping and it was very mild indeed. No sign of rain as we set off at about 4.30pm.. even had a sneaky look at the ground over by the xc and going looked pretty perfect.. although i believe its forecast to rain there tomorrow.
 
Now that's what I wanted to hear!:D hehe!

Yes Saw it is supposed to be bad tomorrow! Hopefully 1 day of rain is better than 2!
 
Morning, started drizzling with us about 5.30 pm last night followed by heavy rain from about 11.45pm. Now it is just steady light rain (I am about 10 miles away). Am watching all sites with interest as hoping to do the course walk this afternoon at 2pm.
 
Richmond have posted on BEs facebook page saying a course inspection will be held later today and to keep checking online. Sounds ominous :(

Agree, shame if it cancels, sister was there on Tues night for a PC instructor thing and she said the course looked fab and the ground was good, we're supposed to be there tomorrow but we shall just have to wait and see, fingers crossed that another one isn't washed away

Just had text to say Friday competitions have been postponed until Monday
Further inspection to take place tomorrow for the Sat & Sun
 
Richmond Horse Trials - Due to the heavy overnight rain, competition on Friday 11th May at Richmond has been postponed until Monday 14th May, entries will be carried over unless competitors are unable to compete on Monday.

There will be an inspection on Friday for competition on Saturday & Sunday.

'Richmond Horse Trials

Due to the large amount of rain at Richmond in the last 24 hours, Richmond(1) FRIDAY Classes are postponed until Monday 14th May. All Friday entries will be transferred to Monday if competitors wish to run. Should you be unable to run on Monday, the BE Abandonment Fund will pay out.

Monday 14th May is open for entries for all classes.

A decision on whether to run on Sunday 11th May will be taken by 1200 on Friday 11th May.

The Cross Country Schooling day at Richmond on Monday 14th May is CANCELLED'​
