Went for a glorious hack through Windsor Great Park on Midnight Focus.....(not especially famous but been round Badminton)
Warmed up & competed against Milton for the Foxhunter at Northampton Show, when he was ridden by Caroline Bradley, Not quite riding him but I could have hopped on board if she has only asked

I've never ridden anythign remotely famous... But then again I have only been riding for almost 4 years

However my friend owns a blue/yellow XC jumper and silk that won Badminton and was placed at Burghley

I rode Sportsnight VII - though he's not really famous, except to me. I honestly couldn't begin to tell you how many famous TB's I've worked with, marketed for Auction or visited and done the tourist thing of pictures with.

Also, ridden upsides Desert Orchid (ok, not ridden him, but upsides him is just as special haha).
 
i have ridden loads of famous event, showjumpers. when i worked for dr baumann in munich germany. my favorite was his olympic gold 3 day eventer a lovely black stallion, with a big un seating buck on him (he got my head in the sand quite a lot lol).
ridden a few good race horses in my time too up in york.

Not totally true, as she only went up to 3 star, and competed at Blenheim and fell on the final run

shes currently in the field waiting to have her baby YAY! (Only know cos shes my friends horse and and gave winnie a pat whilst i was visiting at xmas).
But jockey has been round Badminton

Ah just thought of one havent ridden him but spent plenty of time grooming him, bringing him down from the field, trying to catch the bugger! and trying to lead him back up without being dragged!

I knew pragada he was a ex racer who was at my yard until he was recently PTS He one cheltenam so I feel he was famous in some ways!

I have ridden a number of good showjumpers when I was grooming - nothing too famous though. Probably the best known was Oeillet that Tim Stockdale rode for a while.

I have had my hands inside lots of very famous horses when I was an operating theatre nurse but unfortunately I am not allowed to name names!
 
<font color="green">Not quite... I petted Red Rum and gave him polos when he made a appearance at a yard near us. I also met the girl who'd been looking after him when he was there.

A few years ago when Kilbaha won the Hickstead Derby Steve whatsisname said the horse used to belong to a certain person in West Cork. Well that certain person kicked me out of his riding school (apparently I'm not the only one told to "not come back here")</font>
 
i have ridden a few famous ones at the brs, Decorated Hero, one of dettoris magnificent 7, Able Choice, another of his rides, and Millers Tale, to name a few x
 
Skwarl.. who i dont know who he is with anymore but was in horse and hound. I used to ride this horses lots as i worked for the eventer.. hes dont badminton and will do it again.
 
When I was 15/16 I did some work experience at John Whitakers and hacked several of his top horses out daily, like steps helsinki. There was another famous one that I've seen on tv for the past few years with another rider...a big bay mare but can't for the life of me think of her name!
