I'd have mine back in a heart beat!
I still think ours was the cleverest horse I have ever had. She once left the other horses where they were all grazing on the mountain and stood behind the nearest fence to the house calling until I went to her. She then turned round and led me to a spot where she suddenly stopped and refused to move. In my attempts to get her to come home with me I happened to look up and saw the shetland stuck on a ledge above us. He had been there long enough to have produced three droppings and it took two men to get him off. She had definitely worked out he needed rescuing and come to get us.

Percherons are fab, definitely big pony attitudes but at slower speeds. He was a gentle giant but with the head nearly as large as me 😳🤣 if he wanted to get to the grass, in a headcollar - he knew full well I had no hope 🤣🤣

Fab to ride, safe but not always steady. Cheeky flair when he decided he didn't want to do something 🤣 quite opinionated! But in no way nasty.

But you do have to consider that working in the school is tricky at their size, and that everything in extra large size is extra pricey. They may be good doers but cost a fortune in hay etc

I would have one in a heartbeat, but they're not cheap easier keepers like smaller cobs so that's something to bare in mind
