Evening

I have had my pure bred ID for 18mths now doing a bit of SJ but mainly dressage, which we are doing really well at, however to give him a change of things to do fancy trying my hand at a bit of showing.

Can anyone let me know what classes they think would be suitable, someone told me to do medium hunter classes or heavyweight hunter classes but not sure which one he would be suitable for and whether the judge rides etc and what they look for etc. He has just turned 6 and has a lot of filling out to do...

Any advise would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks guys xx

I guess it depends on his height and bone. My friend did medium with her mare. If he jumps well how about workers too? Aren't there pure ID show classes too?

Thanks Honey08, there are pure bred ID classes but not brave enough to do any of these yet LOL want to practise a bit at some novice level stuff. Have never done showing so its all new to me (well done some WH over the years but never pure showing)!

I will measure his bone and do some more googling LOL x
