Any tips on doing ridden show cob(riding club level) i.e how often do i fully clip? i've heard some judges dont like the just clipped look?

I have a friend with a show cob, and she thinks that her cob looks best at about a week after clipping - the pink skin is not showing through on her legs. You just have to judge for yourself - some like to clip aout 10 days before a show, because the growth of mane gives a good shape to the neck.

Thanks for that, will see how it goes, he also sufffers from leg mites so need to keep him clipped as found it is the best way to manage them.
