Hi! :)

I am entering a competition in may and the classes I'm thinking of doing with my boy are the ridden hunter and/or ridden coloured. But as I'm new to this, I don't know what his tack should be like etc.

He currently wears a normal noseband with a flash and a full cheek snaffle. Is this alright?

What colour saddlepad would he wear? White or a one that matches is colouring?

Also, would he need to be wearing a velvet coloured browband or would a plain leather one do?

Thanks in advance!!

:D

As he is of hunter type he should wear plain tack, no velvet browbands, if you can take the flash off and use a cavesson that would be more correct the full cheek snaffle is ok, you should use a discrete saddle shaped numnah not saddlecloth, brown rather than white as it blends in more with the saddle. You should be in tweed, shirt and tie, not a stock, brown gloves and cane.
