Ridden showing help!!??

So I’m going to start doing ridden M&M classes with my dun Welsh sec A next season, but I’m a bit confused about the rules on hats/helmets.
We’re only going to be doing unaffiliated competitions, but my hat is a sparkly fixed peak Champions hat, so will I have to buy a different (velvet?) one. And if so, what colour!!?? Thanks

Navy velvet with flesh coloured harness for women.
If your champion had been a plain colour you probably would have got away with it but sparkley and M&M classes are a no no
