Hi ALL

What is everyones thoughts on ride alert (safety info incase an accident happens, please see link for exact info). From what I gather its £25 for a pack for ID badge for you and one for horse and you register details....

This explains it well, skip to 1:15 on the vid:

And this is their website:

Is it worth it, or would you get an ID badge/info thing instead and if so what would you buy instead?

I'm not sure I'd bother tbh. Not sure of the value of the registration? If I was found and the info couldn't be taken from me then I think I would rather the first call was 999! Good idea to have info on horse and rider though. I have my phone on me with my ICE contact on, but my horse has nothing. I would just get a pet tag engraved and put in on some tack though I think.

hmm thats interesting. I thought there were flourescent safety info tags around somewhere that you could buy for horse and rider?

Prob is that if it is for a horse rider then the price will have been inflated! For high vis I use my pound shop gilet, for info I would use a dog tag, or even postcoding tack would help if I got seperated from my horse I imagine? - so no reason for me to spend on a particular thing just made for one job. Horsey stuff just always seems so expensive for what it is, if you can find the same thing that isn't horsey then it is loads cheaper!
