So, having heard very good things locally about a Ride With Your Mind instructor, I have just booked a lesson.

Who has these and what can I expect?! :)

Lovely! Hope you enjoy. The instructors do vary but if you have had recommendations that is a brilliant start. You will be concentrating A LOT! I have had a few lessons and find it requires more input from me as the rider than I would have in a conventional lesson. Great experience and if you take to it can make a massive difference to your riding. Unfortunately I am too lazy|!!

I have been having lessons with a RWYM instructor for about 3 years .

The first few lessons were pretty hard work as she completely changed my position - it felt so weird ! But it was all broken down into small stages - legs one week , hands the next - it was easier to absorb / practice the new stuff bit by bit , rather than being flooded with masses of new information all at once . Now , what once felt so strange has become second nature . My horse is going so much better so I am a huge fan of RWYM .

Hope it works for you !
