I'm currently trying to get a bit fitter to help with my riding and enable me to sit to my youngsters trot! and I'd like to do some riding specific exercises is there any good websites etc with some rider specific programs??
 
Yoga/Pilates is fantastic for core strength.
Cardio is fantastic for overall stamina and your cardiovascular system.

There are some fantastic videos on youtube in which you can do at home.
 
You need to do exercise to help your core and tone up your tummy. Planking is good, standard planks and side planks. Another good one is lying on the floor on your back and then getting up WITHOUT using your hands. Do this ten times or so each time you do it.
 
Just had my Pilates for Dummies DVD delivered ... know what I will be doing tonight :D I also plan to dust off bike and start using it to exercise the dog. She has three walks a day anyway so I'm wasting valuable fitness opportunities :)
