Rider insurance

The other insurance posts have made me ponder!

Who do people insure with for rider insurance? Is it usually included with the horse cover? Or do people join organisations to get it? Also are some better than others?

I have BHS gold membership, which I took out before I owned Toff, and have just kept paying yearly, however I may move this to be with my horse insurance if works out better (NFU). Or am I already covered with my horse policy?!

I have BHS gold ember insurance and also covered on my horses insurance.

Like Showjump I have BHS Gold and covered on horses insurance
Rider only insurance useful if you ride other peoples horses but dont own one---they may not have their horses insured

When children borrowed my ponies I insisted they became PC members for the excellent 3rd party insurance. I did loan to one rider who was not a PC member just had her name added to ponies insurance policy
