Rider insurance

Know its probably been said before but my daughter is helping to exercise a friends horse and has been advised to get rider only insurance, can anyone tell me the best place to look pleasse

Join the BHS - she gets public liabilty insurance for any horse she rides

Or you could try Petplan, sure they do a rider plan thats around £50 a year for younger people.

Slink does that cover her as well for any injury saying if she falls off

Petplan is very good, it has a more detailed policy than the BHS gold membership which is just 3rd party liability. The petplan has 3rd party, custodial liability (if horse dies due to your actions, owner receives £££), vets bills, tack cover, rider death/illness/dental treatment, and there's loads of other bits and bobs in it

Yup - its personal accident and public liability - I think its 42 quid for kidlets under 21
