I'm currently perusing for rider only insurance (I have a horse on part loan and have owners very keen go-ahead to compete him). I have two quotes online, so obviously not accurate - one was £92.00 Yearly (Deluxe Cover) and the other was £60.00 Yearly (Adult Plus Cover). Are these reasonable quotes

Obviously I need to go through with a fine toothcomb the details, but who do you have your ride insurance with and if you wouldn't mind parting with the price, how much do you pay?

Cheers Chaps! :)

BSH Gold membership gives public liability insurance, and personal accident up to £15K I believe. For £57 a year.

another vote for BHS gold membership, for rider cover! as long as you are not getting any financial gain from the loan arrangement! is the horse insured? do you have some sort of contract for youor part loan stating who is responsible for what costs should an accident occur? ie vets bills, horse death etc?
