The other day I realised that I have been riding with my heels not so far down as they should be

This bad habit has sort of crept up on me since I stopped having lessons, but I've only just really realised!
Axey has been a bit of a naughty boy in the school for a while, being very resistant and not being as round as he can be.
Well guess what, its all my fault

As soon as I put my heels down he transformed into a lovely round dressage horsey, was in self carriage and generally lovely

So it just goes to show what a difference the riders position can make, even just something as simple as putting your heels down!

Well done! A simple thing like heels up or down can really affect your weight and balance and does make a big difference to the horse!

Enjoy ur newfound dressage horse!!
