RIDGEBACK or NOT?

Right this is my boyf's mums dog

now when im out with him people always comment that he's a ridge cross.

he's defo got ridge and is HUGE but has longer and lighter hair!

Boyfs mum says he's a long haired and short haired cross?

is there such thing i dont think she'd knowingly lie but has she been lied to?

not that it matters we love him to bits but it bugs me...

Oh and as for the colour you can get some VERY light Ridgebacks.... the range from liver/sad colours through to the wheaten reds!!
