Have finally got round to advertising Mojo and it went in the paper today.

Anyway the first phonecall I got started off with an enquiry for me to tell her about him. So I turned it around and asked what she was looking for...

the lady on the end of the phone said that she had just been let down on a dog that she was meant to get today. Anyway it turns out this dog was a chiuaua (sp!). So I said "thats quite a jump - a chiuaua to a GSD"! Her reponse was that she just wanted a dog, any dog would do. i asked why, she said because she had 2 young children (3 and 5) and the dog was for them to play with.

How ridiculous can people be?! No thought whatsoever had gone into the thought involved in chosing a dog. Needless to say I told her Mojo was not the dog for her!!

Good for you

you will get your fair share of morons, before u find him the best home.
How old is he now?

Oh well done on being so responsible, I am sure there are plenty of people out there who would have palmed him off to the first person!

15 weeks tomorrow.

He is totally adorable and I'll be really sorry to see him go. I'm really hopeful though that we might have met a guy today who would like him. When we took the lorry to be serviced the mechanic could not take his eyes off him. So keeping our fingers crossed he will come back wanting him.

I used to get so many idiots when I had pups for sale, and I rarely advertised it was just word of mouth but still people contacted me who had no idea what owning a dog, never mind a GSD, involved. Just be wary of people wanting guard dogs, now he is getting a bit older you might get the odd call. If you ask to do a home check, and if possible get vets references, that usually sorts the wheat from the chaff. Good luck with homing him, but I think you are doing the right thing , it is very hard to bring up siblings and give them the individual attention they need.

Mojo has a new Daddy!!

The mechanic is having him! He has had GSD's from when he was younger. He works at home and has spoken to all his friends/family and people who he will need to rely on when he can't be there. He has asked if we can keep him a bit longer whilst he sorts out alll his fencing to make sure there is nowhere he can escape from.

So now when the muppets call up I can tell them where to go!!
