Turned up to yard after being on my placement for the day to find horsey tucked up in stable bone dry. Not just mine all of them are in, however the 3 in field with mine have been in all day...YO didnt want mine getting cold as he had his legs clipped off 2weeks ago and a bib clip...he is in MW full neck rug and a lycra field hood. but no leg protection! i feel she fusses over him too much. and she kept the others in so he wasnt on his own. All at yard are in tonight though as soaked through. But it worries me slightly that its only november and rain and she hasnt put him out!!
I feel i may have to buy some turnout boots! maybe i should get her to pay though she must love him more than me!!

If you would like him out then surely what you say goes, so long as it isn't to the detriment of his welfare (which it really doesn't sound like it is!)?

Mine didnt go out either - which although disturbs me as it is only November, he seemed happy as larry to be tucked up with a net while it lashed it down!
Me and YO have already discussed that I want him out everyday where possible, however we have a small problem that everyone else on yard seems to think their natives are going to melt in the rain! Goodness knows what would happen to my TB then! He doesnt settle out on his own, and as long as he gets a leg stretch he's happy enough.
Thankfully the ned doesnt seem half as bothered as me!

mine also loves being in, she knows i want him out as much as poss as its better for his joints and his stroppy moods!! but she opened his door for an hour and he stayed in so she shut him back in!! he is a wimp typical TB x! He was out today tho!
Doris Glad im not the only one worrying they will never see daylight for months at this rate!!
