Riding "2-up" on the roads

Awful idea - especially with some of the idiot car drivers you get on the roads today. It is always a possibility that something could happen to spook the horse - if an accident happened and the child was seriously injured - how would this woman ever live with herself!
 
Also this person must be even more insane to suggest it do early on.
Yes your horse is safe, you know your horse, but to the potential sharer how does she know the horse is as god as you say?

No offence OP, but we all know how people can lie or exaggerate their horses abilities etc.

No offence taken SOH! I was kind of the same. I've had him 5 years and he is fab and I've learned every aspect of his personality. He is bloody brilliant but he is still a horse and will occasionally get his knickers in a knot because there's a fallen branch in a new place.
