Riding after Annual Injections

I have the vet coming this afternoon to give my horse his annual injections, can I ride him straight after?

It is best not to. Give then 24 hours off then work them gently next couple of days - well that is what I do - just in case

The main thing is that they do not get hot and sweaty or worked so hard that they are blowing. Usually a gentle strolling hack out.

The day off is best.

The baby had the afternoon off then i took him out for a walk around the block the following day.

The only difference i noticed was that he was a bit lerthargic (sp) but no other problems.
