Now that we've had our first frost, I'm planning on giving my lot their autumn wormers over the weekend, most probably Saturday evening when I bring them in.
I was planning on going for a nice hack Sunday morning but it has just occurred to me is it safe to ride after worming? Do you tend to give yours time off? It's never occurred to me not to ride but I've just suddenly thought about it?

I've ridden the day after with no concerns. Probably wouldn't compete or do anything especially strenuous, and I'd be more cautious if I suspected a worm burden. I'd possibly reconsider if I saw worms in poo in the morning but all things equal I'd still hack for sure

Mine were done last at the end of June. They are overdue but I like to wait until after the first frost before autumn worming.

I’d worm after working. If poo overnight looked dodgy, I’d perhaps give a day off and/or gut restore for a couple of days. I wouldn’t avoid normal work generally though.
Perhaps seek the advice of your vet if the worm burden is expected to be high?
