riding at the sea side...

hi going on hols soon and would like to go horse riding on the beach but cant seem to find a riding school that hires horse near the sea does anyone no of a place that me and my daughter could hire some horses to ride,were near hunstanton but dont mind traveling further a field.

Sorry I have no idea where Hunstanton is, but beach riding is fantastic, we took our two to the coast when we were icebound in the winter, a goodtime was had by all, my gelding loved the water.

Dont know where you are, the best beach to me in central scotland is Kinshaldy beach and tentsmuir forest, its near leuchars in fife.
The forest is huge with great tracks and it runs down right onto the sand dunes, so you come out of the trees right onto a huge beach.
There are stables there dunno if they have rides on the beach i just take my own guys.
If i figure how to do it i'll upload pics

Hunstanton is in Norfolk you guys

I honestly am not sure if anywhere round these parts does beach riding, which is a bit of a sod tbh. You'd think someone would be taking advantage of Holkham, but no! There is some good hacking in forests etc, but not on beaches as far as I know (although I am not an encyclopaedia of Norfolk horsey places so there might be somewhere).

This place www.pakefieldridingschool.co.uk offers beach rides, it's lowestoft so just on the border in suffolk. I've not been but have a friend who has lessons there and really likes the place...
