I've put this in cr but no replies :( so thought I'd try here. Do you need to protect leather boots from the T bar on dressage leathers? Mine came with a little loop of leather to slide over the T bar but it doesn't stay put.

Depends where the t bars sit relative to your saddle flaps & boots :)
On mine the t bars sit below the flaps and just above my stirrup irons so they aren't in contact with anything.
You could always get some new covers, mine are quite snug so they stay put.

Also, which way round are they? Mine are wow leathers and the t bar goes through the strap pointing away from my boots, if that makes sense. Don't think they would rub my BOOTS even without the cover, would be more likely to mark the saddle if I had the wrong length leathers :)
