riding boots and tendonitis

hi has anyone else on here got achilles tendonitis and if so which riding boots do you wear as i find that most boots really press on this area and irritate the problem and my physio has told me to try to find boots that arent close to the tendon which is easier said than done

Hi yes I have and it bloomin kills. I wear short boots Mountain horse Joddy boots and long Mountain horse leather boots and touch wood ok with them.

I have had it and use mountain horse boots anyway so it wasn't too much of a problem riding...

thanks and yes it blooming kills mountain horse it is then i suppose they arent as shaped as other riding boots which seem to come at the achilles area

I wear joddie boots in a size bigger than usual plus leather gaiters. No joke having this condition is it folks?

no it really isnt cant believe how much it can hurt on a bad day but my physio says he can make it a lot better just got to be aggresive with treatment
