Hi, is there anyone in the Bloxholm area of Sleaford who rides?
I have a horse that won't hack alone and never see people riding around here, hence I don't ride anymore. On the verge of giving up riding altogether now. :( If anyone wants a riding buddy please get in touch.x

hi, sorry I am not in your area, but just wanted to say don't give up, I have fealt very much the same early last year but moved yards my mare has changed so much since moving calmer and braver and now although hacking alone isn't as much fun as being with other we can do it.

Fingers crossed you find someone soon and sorry I have offered no help

Don't give up!! Have you got a friend who could walk out or cycle with you? Or perhaps an instructor who could give you some help? Good luck- there's always a solution :-)

I agree, don't give up. There will be a solution. I'm in the Grimsby area but I trailer down to ride with other friends because I'm so fed up always riding alone and doing the same old routes. I do go to the Temple Bruer/Navenby area so you are not a million miles away but obviously too far for me to come regularly.

Have you tried the FB page Riding Buddies? Think it was set up by a H&H forum member. If you live near good riding, then sometimes owners will even box up and come and ride near you. Good luck - it seems a great shame to give up - think I would try for another horse who would hack alone first.
