Riding Club Horse Show Class

I was thinking of entering my young boy into a Riding Club Horse Class for some experience - what do I need to have to do? I know it includes a small jump - but what else is involved? Also, it's snaffle bridle only, can I use a flash? Is it ok to use a saddle cloth (white one)? I assume no brushing boots?? and finally should I/do I need to plait?

no saddle cloth, you can use a small discreate numnah in the colour of either your horse or your tack.
you should turn out to type so normaly yes you should plait

I did a RC horse class the other day in a pelham, if it doesn't state on the schedule what the horse should be in I'd have thought you can wear a snaffle, pelham or double? Is worth checking with the secretary when you get there though.

You incorporate your jump usually after you have done your normal show for the judge.

Not all classes need you to jump, but I think that it should be included

Plaits are neater unless your horses type denote otherwise and echo above about the saddlecloth.

Schedule will say if you have to use a snaffle.
