Hi I made a post on here asking about showing my boy and now I have another question, I am really happy that I qualified for hickstead in working hunter horse but have no clue about whether you’re supposed to have a plain or coloured brow band as am getting different answers online so if anyone has done this class could you please tell me I would really appreciate it as am really confused, thank you xxx

For working hunter class it’s plain always.

For riding club horse you turn out to type (so a hunter type is plain, riding horse is ribbon).

Which show is it that you’ve qualified for and more specifically which class?

I qualified for working hunter and riding club horse in the sunshine tour, sorry I have no clue why I put working hunter on the description I meant to put riding club 😂😂😂 xxx

Personally for riding club horse I would go with a plain browband rather than coloured browband as a riding club horse should be able to turn a hoof to most things so workmanlike, well schooled, well mannered, possibly pop a fence, look like he could do a dressage test etc. Can you find photos online from last year's show?

Yes I am doing those classes will probably go with a plain browband as I don’t wanna look silly and out of place 😂😂😂 thank you for helping xxx
