Riding clubs in Shropshire? (Shrewsbury)

I've been thinking about joining a riding club, as I'd love to get out and do more now that I have a horse who can, and I think this would be a great way to do it! But I've never been a member of a riding club before, though I used to be in pony club when I was younger - is it the same kind of thing but aimed at adults?
I think I'd be joining the Shrewsbury and District Riding Club as this is closest to me, does anyone know what this one is like? Is it friendly?

Berriewood farm is fab, they do something for everyone

Sorry! Read your post wrong and realised you had your own horse, and had a google for SDRC and I think that would be quite good

Although not a member of this particular club (I am a member of Wrekin north) I have heard it's very good, lots of training opportunities.

Shropshire horse shows held at netley hall in the summer and they are holding some shows at Brookfields also holding qualifiers for the MIDARC winter championship and running a points league for end of winter trophy's!!

^ Ooo, Netley Hall is handy, it's literally 5 minutes down the road!
